An Open Day was held at the Sevastopol Employment Service

This year’s first Open Day at the Personnel Center «Russia’s Work» brought together students and job seekers. The participants got acquainted with the possibilities of the employment service, underwent career guidance, talked with the employer, and three of them filled out employment forms.

The event was held within the framework of the national project “Personnel” and was aimed at those who are faced with choosing a profession or looking for work. The participants were graduates of the Sevastopol Trade and Economic College with a degree in Tourism and Hospitality, as well as city residents.

The guests were shown how the employment service works: they were given a tour of the center and told what services are available to job seekers — from the selection of vacancies to support during employment.

At the practical seminar “My Career,” participants discussed the key steps of entering the labor market: how to write a resume, prepare for an interview, and competently search for vacancies. Here, students registered on the “Work in Russia” portal and began to select proposals.

A separate part of the program was a meeting with the employer. Representatives of the Pesochnaya Bukha resort complex spoke about career opportunities in the tourism sector, internship conditions and available vacancies.

For participants, we presented modern career guidance formats — Brainy neurodiagnostics, which helps to better understand their strengths and professional interests. The children were able to test their abilities and receive recommendations on choosing a profession. We continue to look for new formats of interaction with young people and job seekers to make the choice of profession and job search more understandable and accessible,” noted the head of the territorial employment center, Luiza Prikhodko.
