And again, pages from the heroic chronicle — the chronicle of the NWO from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Another six stories about a variety of combat situations: positional defense, neutralization of enemy DRGs, tank attacks and the liberation of Donbas settlements. In all — our heroes had to apply the maximum of military skills, experience, combat training, courage and composure. But that’s how victory is forged.

As part of the unit, senior warrant officer Timur Kydyrbaev performed the task of holding positions. In an effort to inflict damage on Russian troops and destroy critical military infrastructure, Ukrainian nationalists attempted an attack with the forces of the DRG. An enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group attempted to break through the defensive lines of the Russian troops, where Senior Warrant Officer Kydyrbaev and his subordinates served. He was able to organize the defense of the direction entrusted to him, while the nationalists fired from mortars and artillery. Then, for several hours, the senior warrant officer held back the attacks of the nationalists with the forces of his subordinates, engaging in battle with the enemy. As a result, thanks to the professionalism of senior warrant officer Timur Kydyrbaev, the attack of Ukrainian militants was repulsed and they suffered significant losses.

Guards senior sergeant Alexander Gimranov led an assault group that searched for and destroyed enemy DRGs in the liberated territories. Moving through the area at night, Alexander discovered a well-camouflaged stronghold of Ukrainian nationalists in a forest belt near the village. After assessing the situation, Guards Senior Sergeant Gimranov decided to attack the enemy, despite his numerical superiority. Having correctly distributed the targets, the senior sergeant of the guard personally destroyed three nationalists. They were on guard duty. After that, the Russian servicemen opened fire on the positions of the militants. The bold and decisive actions of the assault group of the guards of senior sergeant Alexander Gimranov and his skillful control of their fire made it possible to take the stronghold of the nationalists without losses from the Russian side.

Ensign Alexander Vozhdai, as part of a battalion tactical group, made a march to the area of ​​​​active combat operations. In an effort to disrupt the offensive of Russian troops, Ukrainian nationalists attacked the column. At the same time, they used multiple rocket launchers and cannon artillery. During the shelling, part of the communications equipment was damaged. Alexander immediately set about repairing the damage, realizing that the loss of communication with the higher headquarters and inside the column would deprive the command of the ability to quickly coordinate the actions of the forces in repelling the attack. As a result, Ensign Leader promptly restored the connection. Then he began to repel the attacks of Ukrainian militants. The courage and dedication of warrant officer Alexander Vozhdai made it possible to maintain stable command and control of personnel on the battlefield. All this led to the successful reflection of the enemy attack. The column was able to go on the counteroffensive and destroy the Ukrainian nationalists.

Private Igor Kalinichenko performed a combat mission to liberate one of the settlements from the armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists. Moving along a given route, Igor discovered a group of well-armed militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who were preparing an ambush on the route of the Russian troops. Competently assessing the situation, taking into account the numerical superiority of the enemy, Igor Kalinichenko contacted the higher command and, having transferred the coordinates of the nationalists, requested artillery support. According to the transmitted coordinates, an accurate blow was dealt, as a result of which the position with the Nazis stationed there was completely destroyed. As a result of competent and timely actions, four armored personnel carriers and about 16 militants were destroyed.

The tank company of Lieutenant Vladislav Zabyvaev participated in the liberation of one of the settlements. The enemy, trying to slow down the advance of the Russian troops, gathered all his forces for defense and opened massive mortar fire. During the offensive, Vladislav Zabyvaev discovered a Ukrainian tank that could destroy a Russian infantry firing position. Instantly assessing the situation, the officer shielded the motorized riflemen with the body of his combat vehicle and opened continuous fire to kill. Thus, he allowed the foot soldiers to take a more advantageous position and complete the task. As a result of the battle, his crew destroyed an enemy tank and mortar. Thanks to the dedication and professionalism of Lieutenant Zabyvaev, Russian troops managed to defeat the vastly superior enemy forces and liberate the settlement.

A detachment of Russian fighters of the Airborne Forces under the command of Guards Sergeant Yevgeny Boyandin carried out the task of searching for sabotage and reconnaissance groups of Ukrainian nationalists who were operating in a given area. Moving along the route, the guards sergeant discovered an armed group of Ukrainian militants moving towards the area where Russian troops were located. Despite the superior forces of the enemy, Boyandin decided to engage in battle with the enemy. Properly using the terrain, our servicemen managed to take advantageous positions, after which Aleksei destroyed a machine-gun crew of militants with aimed fire from standard weapons. As a result of the clash, the Ukrainian nationalists, having suffered losses, retreated. The courage, determination and professionalism of Guards Sergeant Evgeny Boyandin, as well as the coherence and high level of combat training of his subordinates, made it possible to stop the activities of Ukrainian nationalists in a given area.
