Another “Delinquent” raid took place in Sevastopol — 16 debtors were detained
The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol, together with FSSP bailiffs, held an event aimed at combating traffic rule violators who evade paying administrative fines, and at collecting debts from defaulters.
During the raid, using the Road Bailiff software package, law enforcement officers identified 16 vehicles on the city roads whose owners had debt obligations.
As a result of the inspection, four cars were detained and handed over to bailiffs.
The remaining 12 car owners with financial obligations totaling more than 420 thousand rubles paid off on the spot.
For example, one of them, who had 18 unpaid fines for traffic violations, paid more than 34 thousand rubles on the spot, including the enforcement fee.
In addition, law enforcement officials identified a debtor with an unpaid criminal fine in the amount of 150 thousand rubles. The driver paid off with the bailiffs, but for repeated driving while deprived of the right to drive, under Part 4 of Article 12.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, he faces a new fine of up to 100 thousand rubles or compulsory labor for up to two hundred hours. His car was detained and placed in a special parking lot.
The driver, who evaded payment of debts in the amount of 95 thousand rubles, repeatedly drove an unregistered car. In relation to the violator, the traffic police compiled administrative material under Part 1.1 of Article 12.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, seized state registration plates and a vehicle registration certificate. The debtor faces punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of five thousand rubles or deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for up to three months.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol urges citizens to settle their financial obligations in a timely manner in order to avoid such troubles!
