April 13 — Day of the liberation of Simferopol. Attention to blocked traffic areas

On April 13, residents of the Crimean capital celebrate a memorable date — the Day of the Liberation of Simferopol from Nazi invaders. A number of festive events will be held in the city, in which everyone is invited to participate.

  • At 9:00, flowers and wreaths will be laid in the Yuri Gagarin Park at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
  • At 10:00, flowers will be laid at the memorial «Tank T-34», which is located in the Victory Square on the street. Zhukovsky.
  • At 11:10, flowers and wreaths will be laid at the Military Memorial Cemetery, located on the street. Starozenitnaya.

Attention motorists!

In connection with the holding of solemn events in Simferopol dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the liberation of the city from the Nazi invaders, traffic along a number of streets of the Crimean capital will be limited. The traffic restriction is introduced on April 13 from 7:00 to 12:00.

Traffic will be blocked along Serov Street (on the section from Alexander Nevsky Street to Ekaterininskaya Street) and Pavlenko Street (on the section from Alexander Nevsky Street to Yu.A. Gagarin Park). Parking of vehicles in these areas will also be prohibited.

In addition, on April 13, from 7:00 to 12:00, a tow truck will be on duty at the indicated sections of the streets.
