At night, Crimea and Sevastopol successfully repulsed the attack of enemy drones

The Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov and the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev reported on the successful reflection of the night “raid” of enemy drones in their Telegram channels. As follows from their reports, there were at least 8 UAVs.

Over the past night, in different regions of the Republic of Crimea, 6 UAVs were jammed and planted by electronic warfare, and also shot down by air defense forces. There are no victims or injured. I ask everyone to remain calm and trust only trusted sources of information, — informed Aksenov.

In Sevastopol, the «special attention» of the enemy was attracted by the military airfield in Kacha.

At night, our military repelled another drone attack on Sevastopol. In the Kacha area, the forces of the Black Sea Fleet shot down 2 UAVs from small arms, several more UAVs were jammed and planted by electronic warfare. No objects in the city were damaged. All services continue to monitor the situation— wrote Razvozhaev.

And although the exact number of Ukrainian drones attacking the Crimean peninsula is not entirely clear, we state that the air defense systems worked perfectly.
