At the request of the prosecutor's office, a dozen new bus stop pavilions were installed in Simferopol

The prosecutor’s office conducted an audit of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on road safety in terms of the arrangement of bus stops in Simferopol. It was found that a number of designated places for stopping public transport do not meet the standards, namely, there are no stopping pavilions or are in poor condition.
In view of the revealed violation of the law, according to which public transport stops must be equipped with car pavilions, designed to make the waiting time comfortable for passengers, shelter from bad weather and the sun, the prosecutor’s office of the city made a submission to the head of the administration— reported in the supervisory department.
Based on the results of the consideration of the act of the prosecutor’s response, the municipality carried out work on the arrangement of 11 new stopping pavilions in places where they were absent or were in unsatisfactory technical condition, namely, along Rocketnaya, Marshal Zhukov, Lermontov, Lenin, Danilov streets, on Pobedy Avenue, as well as in Beloye-5 microdistrict, as well as on the highway from the overpass st. Marshal Zhukov / Heroes of Stalingrad to the traffic intersection «Nikolaevskaya».
