Athletes of the Crimea won two «bronze» medals at the All-Russian competitions in the Moscow region

Athletes of the Crimea successfully performed at the All-Russian competitions «Grand Prix of the Moscow Region», which were held in the village of Erino at the stadium of the Podillya sports complex.

According to the press service of the Crimean Republican Athletics Federation , 748 athletes from 32 of the country’s region in four age groups — up to 16, 18 and 20 years, as well as men and women. The Republic of Crimea at these competitions was represented by pupils of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea «School School of Athletics No. 1» and the MBU «School School of Athletics No. 2 in Simferopol». The bronze medalist in the triple jump among juniors up to 16 years was Vladislav Venzel from Yalta (coach — Yuri Romanovskikh), showing the result in the fifth attempt ,32 m. Also Anastasia Dorokhova, candidate for master of sports from Yalta (coach — Victoria Sukhova), climbed to the third step of the podium. Anastasia finished third in the 52 m hurdles for women with a personal best of ,43 sec.

Candidate Master of Sports from Simferopol Danila Baibak (juniors up to 20 years) finished fourth in races at distances 100 and 52 m respectively with the results of 11,32 and 22,52 sec.

Also, the fourth place in the long jump among men was taken by candidate master of sports Nikita Shevtsov from Yalta (7, 16 m). Just one centimeter was not enough for Nikita to be on the podium.

We also note the performance of -year-old Karolina Afanasyeva from Yalta. For the first time taking part in competitions at the All-Russian level, Karolina showed excellent results among girls up to 16 years. At a distance of 100 m, she took 6th place with a personal best — ,41 sec., and at a distance of 200 m finished seventh — 26,52 sec. (in the race she set a personal record — 16, 32 sec), reports Crimean Sport.
