CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Bakhchisarai District Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced a resident of the Bakhchisarai District for falsely denouncing a crime. The man reported the theft of his car to the police department.
During the consideration of the criminal case, it was established that at the end of December 2021 of the year 29-year-old young man applied to the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Bakhchisarai district with a statement about bringing to criminal responsibility an unknown person who, in the period from June to December 2021 of the year, allegedly unlawfully took possession of a VAZ car belonging to him 21140, which contained documents for the right to drive the specified vehicle. The defendant obviously knew that this information was false, unreliable, since he himself sold his car around May 2021 of the year. The attacker acted with the aim of evading the payment of fines, knowing for certain that he had unpaid fines for violating the Rules of the Road of the Russian Federation, in connection with which enforcement proceedings were initiated against him , — reported in the press court service.
The man fully admitted his guilt, repented of his deed.
Based on the results of the consideration of the criminal case, the court concluded that the defendant was guilty and the correct qualification of his actions in committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 306 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — a knowingly false denunciation of a crime and sentenced him to a fine of ten thousand rubles.
The verdict has not entered into force.
