This morning (at 9: 25) the operational duty shift of the Crisis Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol received a message from eyewitnesses that a truck was on fire in near the station «Inkerman-1».
The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia were promptly sent to the scene of the incident: one squad of the 5th fire and rescue unit and one squad of the 4th fire and rescue unit.
Upon arrival, the information was confirmed. The barrel of «high pressure» was submitted for extinguishing. The area of the fire was 3 square meters. No dead, no injured. The situation is under the control of the responsible units, the emergency department reported.
It should be noted that a car fire in Inkerman caused a long traffic jam. Let us also recall the effect of “twin cases”: this week, near Sevastopol, the brakes of a truck failed, it crushed a dozen cars and caught fire. One person died, two dozen received injuries of varying severity.
