CrimeaPRESS reports:

The results of the All-Russian competition “Best School Canteen – 2025” have been summed up. The founder of the competition is the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and the organizer is the Federal Center for Monitoring Student Nutrition.

The federal final of the competition took place in the Leningrad region. Sevastopol was represented by gymnasium No. 7 named after V. I. the Great in the nomination “Best canteen of a city school” and school No. 52 named after F. D. Bezrukov in the nomination “Best canteen of a rural school.” School No. 52 cook Natalya Putiy took part in a culinary competition with 58 participants from all over the country for the title of “Best School Canteen Chef.” The food operator in these educational institutions of Sevastopol is IP Artemenko.

According to the results of the competition, the cook of school No. 52, Natalya Putiy, took 1st place among participants from all regions of Russia. In 1.5 competitive hours, she prepared the children’s favorite dish — mashed potatoes, Stroganoff-style liver, cucumber and bell pepper salad, and orange compote.

I have been working as a chef for 26 years. She received her profession at vocational school No. 34, now the Sevastopol College of Service and Trade. Since 2007 I have been working in the field of baby food. For me, this is not just a job — it is an opportunity to take care of the younger generation and be part of their future. Baby food is a simple, tasty and healthy food that requires special attention and control.— said Natalya Putiy.

As part of the competition, school teams presented culinary masterpieces — dishes that are prepared daily for students. The competitors presented at least three ready-made breakfast dishes and talked about their composition and beneficial properties. The works were evaluated by expert, parent and children’s commissions. The participants also completed the “Three Questions from Parents” blitz tournament and the “Safe Food Service” quest workshop. During the practical task, the teams had to identify violations in the school kitchen in 10 minutes.
