Cities and resorts of Crimea are among the destinations where prices for the May holidays increased the most

The May holidays will begin in less than a month. This is always a hot season for tourism, with “heated up” prices for everything — tickets, accommodation, entertainment… According to TVIL, the average price of a night’s accommodation compared to the May holidays of 2025 even fell by 1%. However, there are areas where prices have increased significantly over the year; what are these places?

The Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU, having collected the latest analytical data, identified vacation destinations from May 1 to May 11, 2026, where the average cost per night jumped sharply compared to the same period in 2025. In first place is Diveevo in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where the price increase was 72%. In second place is Kabardinka in the Krasnodar Territory, where the average price per night increased by 61% compared to the May holidays last year. In third place is Simferopol, where the cost of a night’s accommodation increased by 59% on average.
