Students of the Crimean Federal University won a grant for the creation of the creative space «Carpet» as part of the All-Russian competition of youth projects. The grant amounted to 2.5 million rubles.
The idea arose to bring together people, like-minded students and just those who want to relax or work in a quiet equipped place. This is a development zone. In addition, it is planned to equip a place for board games in the recreation area , — the press service of the university quotes one of the authors of the project, a student of the Medical Academy of KFU Alexander Kabanov.
Six students of the Institute of Economics and Management, the Taurida Academy, the Institute of Physics and Technology and the Medical Academy took part in the development of the project. They are the finalists of the Your Move project.
The creation of a creative space will allow to unite for further work and creation of creative projects both students among themselves, and students and teachers. In addition, working with first-year students outside classrooms in such a creative space will allow us to identify and develop their creative abilities already in the first year of study , — notes the project mentor, chief specialist of the department for social and educational work of KFU Galina Markova.
As the authors of the project note, the name for the creative space did not come about by chance.
“Carpet” is a combination of two parts of words. “Ko” is a co-working space, primarily a learning and recreation area where you can spend time, study, work, take part in lectures and master classes. And “Ver” is Vernadsky, because we are all students of the Crimean Federal University , — notes Tatyana Khristenko, a student of the Physical-Technical Institute of KFU.
During the project implementation period from May to November, 22 students will be involved in the activities and a minimum of activities aimed at to create creative projects.
