Crimea and Sevastopol are the leaders in hotel bookings for January 2026

Among the most popular destinations for hotel booking in January, Yalta is in fifth place. Next come Sevastopol and Alushtathe message said.

Analysts noted that the average booking price per night in Yalta is 6,671 rubles. In Sevastopol — 4270 rubles, in Alushta — 4648 rubles per night.

In first place in popularity is St. Petersburg with 14% of January bookings. Moscow is slightly behind, taking second place, and Sochi is in third (13% and 10% of January hotel bookings, respectively), the publication added.

In addition, the top ten booking leaders also included Krasnodar, Gelendzhik, Anapa and Kazan.

Over the year, the average price of a night in hotels increased in January 2026 by 5% compared to last year, – service analysts clarified.

This week it was also reported that in January demand for tourism family trips around Russia increased by 7 percent compared to last year. The top leaders of cities for January holidays with children include Yalta and Sevastopol.
