Crimea and the Voronezh region will cooperate in the field of tourism development

The agreement is aimed at the implementation of mutually beneficial projects that will be aimed at ensuring that the mutual tourist flow develops. First of all, this is the development of joint products that will attract tourist flows from the Voronezh region to Crimea and vice versa. This, of course, includes work on joint information campaigns and the exchange of experience between the two entities regarding the development of the hospitality industrysaid the head of the Crimean Ministry Ganzi during the document signing ceremony, which took place at the Voronezh Center for Creative Industries.

As part of the agreement, Crimea and the Voronezh region agreed to jointly create conditions for using the natural and cultural potential of both regions, establish and expand business contacts in the small and medium-sized business segment, develop traditional and new tourist routes, and also support health, rural, event, environmental, active and other types of tourism. The Voronezh side accepted the initiative of their Crimean colleagues to conclude such an agreement with great enthusiasm, since thousands of tourists travel through the region to the south every year.

We came to Crimea with our entrepreneurs to see what we could do in terms of developing entrepreneurial activity in Crimea. And of course, it is important for us to learn from the experience of our colleagues in developing tourism and attracting tourists to the region, since we also want to attract tourists to the Voronezh region and it is just on the way to Crimea. I believe that we can build a certain synergy here,” the head of the Voronezh ministry Moskaltsov assessed the importance of the document.

The document signing ceremony took place at the Voronezh Center for Creative Industries, where a two-day program was launched earlier on Thursday Days of Crimean hospitality.

The business mission to the Voronezh region was organized by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea with the aim of presenting the resort and tourism potential of the region and establishing business connections between industry ministries and entrepreneurs. The events are held with the support of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of the Voronezh Region. They are attended by heads of specialized public organizations, tour operator companies, representatives of the Crimean Federal University named after Vernadsky, the Tauride Academy of Kazan Federal University, the scientific and clinical center “Health and Rehabilitation Technologies”, the branch of the Russian Geographical Society for the Republic of Crimea, sanatorium and hotel organizations, as well as the Interregional Association for the Development of Agro-Industrial Tourism “MARAT”.
