Crimea intends to fine people for publishing photos and videos of UAV attacks

In Crimea, administrative responsibility will be introduced for posting on the Internet and instant messengers photos and videos of the operation of air defense systems, as well as the consequences of terrorist attacks and sabotage in the region. The corresponding bill was adopted in the first reading by deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea at a session on Wednesday.
It is proposed to introduce administrative liability for non-compliance by citizens, officials and legal entities with the prohibitions imposed by the head of the Republic of Crimea on the dissemination in the media, including on the Internet, instant messengers and social networks of photo and video materials, geographical coordinates, allowing to determine the location of air defense systems, weapons, equipment, temporary military deployment points on the territory of the republic, as well as a ban on recording the consequences of terrorist attacks, sabotage and other emergency incidentssaid the head of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov.
According to the document, the fines will be: for citizens — from 3 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, for officials — from 20 thousand to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities — from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles.
The project was developed to ensure security and protection of military, important government and social facilities in the region, Konstantinov emphasized.
On July 18, the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, announced that in Crimea it was prohibited to post photographs and videos in the media, social networks and instant messengers with coordinates that make it possible to determine the location of military installations, places where enemy missiles and drones hit. The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, signed a similar decree.
