According to Baldina, in 2024 alone, the gross regional product amounted to 897 billion rubles, and this is 9% higher than a year earlier.

The leaders in the gross regional product are real estate transactions, trade, industry and construction.

In addition, for the first time in 2025, a new indicator was calculated — the gross added value of the creative economy — the part of the economy based on creativity, new ideas and modern intellectual activity, the head of Crimean Statistics specified.

Today, the share of the creative economy in Crimea is 2.6%. This is also a good result, we lost only to the Krasnodar Territory, Kalmykia and Sevastopol in this indicator, — she said.

At the same time, the share of the tourism industry, the basic regional product of the republic, has been a leading indicator since 2019.

The share of the tourism industry in the gross regional product of the republic is now 5.7%, which is the best result in the Southern Federal District, and the second in the Russian Federation as a whole; we, together with Krasnodar, are ahead of ourselves only in the Altai Republic,” Baldina clarified.

The past year was one of the most successful for Crimea in its recent history, the gross regional product of the republic grew 1.2 times over the year and exceeded 945 billion rubles, reported in April, Chairman of the Government of the Republic Yuri Gotsanyuk.
