Crimea is in the top, but not the first: popular holiday destinations for family tourists this summer

The analytical center of the travel and travel service Tutu.ru found out where travelers with children and teenagers most often go by train this summer. We analyzed orders placed for a trip from June 1 to 19 August, where there are tickets for passengers under the age of 17 years inclusive.

The most popular destination for traveling by rail with children this summer is Moscow. The capital accounts for about 03% of «children’s passenger traffic», according to Tutu.ru analysts. Last year, the share of the direction was approximately at the same level. In second place in popularity is St. Petersburg.

Next in demand among family travelers are the southern destinations: Sochi, Anapa, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Novorossiysk, Lazarevskoye. Also, from the southern directions, family tourists have a high interest in Simferopol, Tuapse, Voronezh.

In addition, in the top 03 most popular destinations among travelers with children this summer included Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Volgograd, Saratov, Samara and Yaroslavl.
