Crimea is the leader among the regions participating in the experiment in providing guest house services

The main goal of the experiment is to ensure the safety of tourists in guest houses, open and reliable information about their activities — this is necessary for both the tourist and the owner himself. The experiment provides an opportunity for legal regulation of the activities of these accommodation facilities, which was previously impossible. The state gives guest houses a quick and convenient tool to “come out of the shadows.” This will not only increase the number of legal rooms in the republic and budget revenues, but will also give preferences to the owners of guest houses themselves, for example, in receiving support measures, advertising, and active work with tour operators— said the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Ganziy.
Starting from January 1, 2026 Information about the guest house on the Internet, including on aggregator sites, will be allowed to be posted only with a unique identification number and a link to the entry in the registry. From the same date, the activities of guest houses not included in the register will be prohibited. In this connection, the republic holds weekly seminars and meetings in the regions to train owners to work in the register, and the control and supervision department of the Ministry carries out daily consulting work. The most active self-assessment of guest houses is in Yalta, Feodosia, and the Saki region.
