Not only was the target of enemy drones early this morning. During the day, photos appeared on the web and kamikaze drone that crashed in the Crimea (as we understand it, EW forces helped it “fall”). The Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov reported the details:
In parallel with the morning drone attack on Sevastopol, in the sky over the Republic of Crimea, air defense forces shot down one UAV and another was suppressed by electronic warfare. There are no casualties or destruction. I ask everyone to remain calm. Trust only trusted sources of information.
Experts already UAV model that attacked the Crimean peninsula. This is the Mugin-5 Pro, the model with which the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the oil depot in Rovenki on April 27.
Drone «Mugin-5» made in China costs from 10 to 15 thousand dollars. It can be bought online. It weighs 85 kg, is able to carry a load of up to 20-25 kg, while working in the air is up to 7 hours. The maximum speed is 150 km/h. The case is 100% carbon, so it’s not easy to spot.
