Crimea will present the sanatorium and resort capabilities of the peninsula at the international exhibition “MedTravelExpo”

The international exhibition of medical and health services, health and treatment technologies in Russia and abroad is being held as part of the largest scientific and practical forum in Russia, “Russian Healthcare Week”, from December 8 to 11. The forum was opened by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko.

The delegation of the ministry, headed by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Ganzii, among 82 exhibitors from 4 countries of the world, will present the latest medical technologies and innovative developments created in the sanatorium and resort industry of the republic. As part of the forum, Sergey Ganziy will take part in the VI National Congress for the Export of Medical Services in the regional session “Best Practices of Medical Tourism in Russia”, as well as in the VII All-Russian Congress “Sanatorium and Resort Industry. Science. Results» with the topic of scientific and technological development of sanatoriums in the Republic of Crimea.

Participants of the unified Crimean stand — the leading sanatoriums of the republic — will hold presentations and consultations.

Participation in the international exhibition and business events will make it possible to demonstrate the capabilities of the Crimean sanatorium-resort complex for Russian and foreign consumers, a high professional community, to declare the advantages of traditional and innovative methods of healing in the republic, — said Sergei Ganziy.

The high status and authority of the exhibition and forum is confirmed by its support from the leadership and government of the country, legislative, federal and regional executive authorities in the field of healthcare, industry, and tourism. The forum is organized by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Health of Russia and Expocentre JSC. The forum is held with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The main goal of “MedTravelExpo. Sanatoriums. Resorts. Medical Centers” is to promote the implementation of national projects “Healthcare”, “Demography”, “Tourism and Hospitality” and the federal project “Development of Export of Medical Services”.
