Crimea will receive 62 billion rubles for road construction
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Funding is quite large for next year. Of these, 16.9 billion — from the republican budget, 45 billion — from the federal,” the parliamentarian clarified.
According to him, in 2026, work will be carried out on key transport routes in Crimea. Among them are the Grushevka-Sudak, Simferopol-Alushta-Yalta highways, as well as roads in the urban district of Yevpatoria and the Bakhchisaray region, including the Bakhchisaray-Yalta section.
If we are talking about construction, then first it is necessary to carry out surveys, then design, then carry out work, paving, and creating adjacent infrastructure. Typically this lasts about two years. But we understand that it doesn’t always work out faster, since other design solutions may be required during the work process.— Babashov noted.
The deputy recalled that since 2014, large-scale work has been underway in the region to develop road infrastructure. At the moment, about 49.7% of the tracks are in standard condition, by the end of this year the figure will increase to 58%.
According to him, municipal roads are still lagging behind — about 39% are in standard condition, with a total length of over 10 thousand km.
There is a presidential decree according to which by 2030 federal and republican roads will be brought to standard condition — about 60%. The work is underway and will continue to be underway. The main highways to populated areas, I think, will in the near future be fully brought into standard condition for travel and transport.noted the deputy.
Babashov also said that the quality of contractors’ work has also improved. According to him, a register of bona fide performers has been established in the republic.
Yes, there are nuances regarding deadlines and weather conditions, but companies eliminate the comments and redo them if necessary. There are no cases like 4-5 years ago now.he noted.
Answering a question about problematic areas, the parliamentarian mentioned the road to Dzhankoy. And he promised that work on the site would begin in the near future.
According to the deputy, certain logistical difficulties remain in Crimea, but they do not affect the stability of supplies.
Naturally, we are on a peninsula, so there are some peculiarities. Only passenger transport and partly railway transport transport goods. There are difficulties, but we are successfully solving them. Crimea lives stably, there are no shortages,” Babashov emphasized.
Previously reportedthat the design of the Belogorsk — Privetnoye road, which will pass through the mountain range from the Tavrida highway to the coast, is at the completion stage.
