Crimean cheese will be presented for the first time at the annual Russian Cheese Summit

The 7th Cheese Summit will traditionally take place in the village of Ramon near Voronezh. The event will take place on the last days of Maslenitsa. The organizers promise the guests three gastronomic evenings, a gala dinner and two days of cheese fair trade. 10 cheese dairies, including Crimean ones, will present their products for sale and tasting.

The organizers specify that this time, the day before the start of the cheese festival, February there will be a pre-party «Let’s talk about cheese «. The meeting will be hosted by a well-known cheese maker and head of the school of cheese making, winner of the World Cheese Award and Mondial du Fromage competitions Olesya Shevchuk (Moscow). Guests of the event will not only taste high-quality dairy products, but also learn about the technology of its production.
The two main days of the summit will consist of cheese fairs and gastronomic evenings, where chefs will prepare dishes using farm cheeses at Ramon’s restaurant — Tulinov Dom.
10 February will host an evening gastronomic program «Crimean Day». New taste sensations will be presented to guests by Crimean producers: the Feodosiya cheese factory «Tavrika» and craft cheeses «We eat our own» from Kerch. The participants of the gala dinner will be served five dishes based on festival cheeses and Crimean wine as a compliment.
Summit organizers report that admission to the cheese fairs is free. There, buyers will be able to purchase cheeses from the Tambov, Voronezh and Penza regions, the Krasnodar Territory, Novosibirsk and, of course, the Republic of Crimea.
