Crimean Children’s Hospice invites you to join the project “After 18 — we are close”
The Crimean Children’s Hospice notes:
They are no longer 12, not 16 — but they are still children. The child turned 18. Formally, he became an adult. According to the documents. But in reality, this is the same boy or girl, with a serious illness, in need of care, nutrition, and care. It’s just that now the family is left alone with this pain.
In Crimea there is no systemic care for “adult” palliative patients. This means we have no right to leave. We continue to help those who were with us until they were 18 years old. We purchase food, medicine, and consumables. We accompany them to examinations, procedures, and home.
This is not heroism. This is honesty. We promised — and we keep our word. Support the project “After 18 — we are close.” Every ruble is like a strong shoulder for those who have no one else to lean on.
