Crimean cities are among the top popular destinations for spontaneous trips in March

On March 26th we celebrate our own holiday. And traveling is always a holiday, it’s an opportunity to look at the world in a new way, to discover new cities, new lands. And sometimes they go on trips suddenly, because the soul wants a holiday. It’s no wonder that the number of spontaneous trips is growing every year. Where do people go on spontaneous trips in March?

The Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU has identified the most popular destinations in March 2026, where bookings were made 1-2 days before the start of the stay. Moscow was in first place, followed by 18% of all spontaneous bookings in March, St. Petersburg in second, and Krasnodar in third (9% and 4% of spontaneous bookings, respectively).

The ten most popular destinations for spontaneous trips in March:
