Crimean cultural institutions are the winners of the All-Russian competition to identify the best practices within the framework of the national project “Family”

Crimean initiatives have received recognition at the federal level. This confirms the high level of our cultural institutions and their contribution to the development of family and ethnocultural valuesnoted the Chairman of the Government.
Among the winners is the Crimean Republican Children’s Library named after. V. N. Orlova, who presented the project “Family Weekend Club “Little Country”, where parents and children can read together, discuss books and spend time. The institution will receive 2.95 million rubles for the implementation of the project.
In 2025, the library celebrates two significant dates at once: the 70th anniversary of its foundation and the 95th anniversary of the birth of the writer and playwright V.N. Orlova.
The first director of the institution was I.P. Petlyuk was a participant in the Great Patriotic War, a recipient of nine orders and medals. Under her quarter-century leadership, the library established a strong foundation for its mission to serve, educate, and inspire children.
Today the institution is the main children’s library of the Republic of Crimea. Its collection includes more than 100 thousand books and publications, and since the beginning of this year, the institution has already received over 142 thousand readers.
Two cultural and leisure institutions also received support in the amount of 3 million rubles:
- Palace of Culture «Breeze» in the town of Primorsky — for the theater festival «Primorsky Tales», which unites creative groups from Crimea and other regions of Russia;
- Novonikolayevsky Rural House of Culture — for the project “Living Traditions”, within the framework of which the folk holiday “Svyatki” is held, aimed at preserving the ethnocultural heritage.
In 2026, 11 events are planned in Crimea within the framework of the “Family Values and Cultural Infrastructure” project for a total amount of 194.38 million rubles. These initiatives are aimed at developing the cultural environment, strengthening family ties and promoting best practices in the field of culture.
