Crimean designers presented their collections at the All-Russian competition “Soul of Russia 2026”
In the Republic of Crimea, an infrastructure to support creative entrepreneurship is being consistently formed. One of the results of this work was the participation of Crimean fashion designers in the finals of the All-Russian forum-competition “Soul of Russia 2026”.
The final of the competition took place in Foros. The participants were girls from different regions of the country — from Siberia and Buryatia to Donbass and Zaporozhye region. The competition shifted the emphasis from external beauty to the internal, spiritual component, patriotism and the ability to give good. The program included a sports relay race, in which participants helped pupils of a Simferopol boarding school for children with visual impairments, as well as performances by children’s groups.
A special feature of the final was the demonstration of costumes from Crimean designers representing the high fashion of the region. The “Soul of Russia” competition is the basis of our spirituality and Russian statehood, and it once again emphasizes how patriotic our Crimeans are,” emphasized Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.
Famous Crimean designers and creative duets presented their collections: Olga Prokhorova and Kristina Troitskaya (collection “Thaw”), Marina Chrikyan (collections in the Russian style), Yulia Ivanova (brand “0220”). Many of them are residents of the regional creative cluster and receive government support.
Behind this success is systematic work to develop creative industries in the region. A creative cluster has been formed on the basis of the Crimean State Entrepreneurship Support Fund, which already unites 250 participants. All necessary regulations have been approved, including the procedure for forming a register of subjects of creative industries, and a specialized headquarters has been created. An agreement was signed with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives on the implementation of the Regional Standard for the Development of Creative Industries.
As Irina Kiviko noted, in 2025, 3.7 thousand SMEs were registered in the creative industries of Crimea, which created more than 9 thousand jobs. The cluster has approved over 150 applications for support and conducted more than 200 events.
