Crimean Eldar Emirov is the winner of the wrestling tournament «The Power of Traditions» in Novosibirsk

Eldar Emirov, a pupil of the KSP UOR from the Bakhchisarai region (coaches — Viktor Soldatov, Lenur Mamedov and Bolat Abdulaev), as part of the team of the Southern Federal District, became the winner of the Open All-Russian Tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling among youths 2006-2007 years. R. «The Power of Tradition». These team competitions are 10-28 of October were held in Novosibirsk at the Lokomotiv Arena.

Teams 10 took part in the tournament: national teams of the federal districts — the Far East, Volga, North-Western, North Caucasian, Siberian (acted in two teams — «East» and «West»), Ural, Central and Southern, as well as the national team of Belarus. The fights between the teams took place in the classic for this age group 12 scales. At the group stage of the competition, the SFD team confidently defeated opponents from Belarus (9:3), the Far East ( : 1), Northwestern (10: 2) and Siberian («West») (9:3) federal districts, and in the final — from the Central Federal District (9:3). Eldar Emirov had five fights, and in all of them he won early victories (on the carcass)! Pavel Tyukhtyaev from the Khabarovsk Territory, Timofey Lazar from Belarus, Danil Pirogov from the Kemerovo Region, Maxim Khomutov from the Kaliningrad Region and Yaromir Polyansky from the Moscow Region could not resist the pressure of the Crimean “tank”.
