Crimean essential oils are used in rehabilitation programs

We have done a lot of work and proved that hydrolates (“fragrant” water formed during the steam distillation of plant, usually essential oil, raw materials — ed.) are a new direction in balneology, — said Mishin.

Scientists have been doing this since Covid, for two years, and now the results of their work are used in sanatoriums, including in rehabilitation programs for air defense soldiers.

This is now used, among other things, in military sanatoriums, because we need to help our soldiers, — Mishin emphasized.

Also, essential oils that are produced in Crimea are increasingly used in aromatherapy throughout Russia.

According to Mishin, in order to give impetus to this direction, Crimean specialists have done a lot of joint work with experts from the Central State Medical Academy of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
