Deputies of the Crimean Parliament dismissed Larisa Opanasyuk from the position of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic ahead of schedule. The decision was made at the plenary session on Wednesday.

Opanasyuk was elected to the position of Commissioner for Human Rights in Crimea in November 2019 for a five-year term. From 2014 to 2019, she held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Government of Crimea — Chief of Staff of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.
