The Crimean police states that recently there have been more cases of individuals receiving debt notifications via the Internet, which indicate that a citizen has an outstanding tax debt for year in the amount of 284 ruble. These letters are sent to citizens by e-mail, allegedly on behalf of bailiffs, with demands to pay a non-existent debt.
The Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea recommends that citizens treat such letters with caution and, before paying any received receipts, officially check information about existing debts.
