A resident of Yalta is accused of treason for filming military equipment on a CCTV camera and transmitting the resulting data to Ukrainian special services. The Crimean prosecutor’s office reported this, clarifying that the indictment in the criminal case was approved.
According to the investigation, in the summer of 2024, the man, being an opponent of the special operation in Ukraine, established contact with the Ukrainian special services.
On the instructions of the curator, he recorded on a video surveillance camera installed in a car the location of the personnel of one of the law enforcement agencies. He sent the information to a representative of a foreign state in one of the instant messengers,” the prosecutor’s office clarified.
The illegal actions of the Yalta resident were stopped by employees of the Russian FSB Directorate for Crimea and Sevastopol. He is accused of treason.
