Crimean sanatoriums in the summer of 2025 adopted hundreds of thousands of people

More than 210 thousand people chose the sanatoriums of Crimea for recreation in the summer of 2025, the portal «Sanatoriums-Russia.rf» reports. According to the data, 212 thousand people rested in the health resorts of the peninsula for three summer months — this is 9% more than in the same period last year.

Every tenth tourist, who chose a sanatorium-resort rest last summer, chose the sanatoriums of Crimea. The number of guests of the country’s sanatoriums over the summer-2025 amounted to 2 million 161 thousand people, which is 3% less than last summer last year— specify in the publication.

According to the results of the rating, the leading positions were taken by sanatoriums of the Krasnodar Territory, in which more than half a million vacationers visited the season, the Stavropol Territory with an indicator of 233 thousand people and the Republic of Crimea — 212 thousand vacationers. The top ten most popular areas of the Moscow Region, Bashkortostan, Perm and Altai Territory, Tatarstan, as well as the Tyumen and Samara regions were closed.

Member of the Board of the National Resort Association, Yevgeny Terentyev, noted that the regions demonstrate the growth of income, which indicates an increase in the average cost of vouchers and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

The leadership of the Krasnodar Territory is still undeniable, however, other regions, such as the Stavropol Territory and the Republic of Crimea, are actively building up their popularity— the experts emphasized.

Previously reportedthat Crimea continues to actively develop the sanatorium-resort direction and strengthen the status of the leading center of health tourism in Russia. According to the minister, in the republic there are 91 sanatorium-resort institutions-more than in many constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
