Crimean schoolchildren and students can take part in the Day of Children’s Ecological Cinema in Russia. The festival is aimed at environmental education and upbringing of the younger generation. This was reported in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea.

The event traditionally includes screenings of films created by children’s and teenage studios in the country’s regions. Foreign works can also take part in the program, the Ministry of Natural Resources noted.

This year the festival will be held for the ninth time. The event will take place on 13 October in the city of Volosovo (Leningrad region).

The festival regularly receives high praise from participants, guests and the audience. The guests of honor are representatives of federal, regional bodies of state executive and legislative power, public organizations of our country.

To participate in the film festival, you must fill out an application and send it to the mail: meridian-hopeomail.ru. Films on environmental topics are accepted for the competition: animated, documentary, feature, popular science, social advertising, made over the past three years. Timing is not more than 5 minutes.
