Crimean schoolchildren are in the finals of the All-Russian competition “Big Change”

From November 1 to 5, the Artek International Children’s Center is hosting the final of the sixth season of the All-Russian competition “Big Change” for schoolchildren in grades 8-10. 1,500 high school students from 79 regions of Russia will complete competitive tasks and become participants in the educational program. The winners will receive 1 million rubles.

“Big Change” is the flagship project of the First Movement. The competition is held with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

The finalists of the competition were representatives of labor groups of teenage student groups of the Republic of Crimea. Students of schools in Simferopol: MBOU Secondary School No. 24 named after. I.P. Klimenko, Dominika Dorokhovskaya and MBOU Secondary School No. 30 named after. A.A. Amatuni”, Elizaveta Kudimova will undergo a series of competitive tests and compete for the main prize — a million rubles.

The common theme of all competitive stages of the sixth season is “From dreams to achievements.” This year, as part of the competition, the children had the opportunity to talk about their most cherished dream, and also, together with the team, take the first step towards its realization. In the Year of Defender of the Fatherland, declared by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, and the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, separate new tasks are dedicated to the theme “Memory of Generations”.

Participants in teenage labor groups are active in All-Russian competitions of various types. The guys are not limited to projects of Russian student teams, but also actively participate in programs organized by the presidential platform “Russia – a land of opportunities.” Such participation reveals their potential and allows them to gain invaluable experience. We are confident that the skills and knowledge that teenagers acquire in student teams will help them during the stages of the “Big Change” competition, – noted Ekaterina Denesyuk, head of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups.

The “Big Change” competition is the largest project for children and teenagers in Russia. Over six seasons, more than 7 million people became its participants. The competition includes 12 areas (“challenges”) – from science and technology to art and creativity.
