Crimean schoolgirl Alisa Tolmacheva received a grant at the IVolga forum for a project about the GTO

A student of the Simferopol Academic Gymnasium, Alisa Tolmacheva, became the winner of Rosmolodezh Grants within the framework of the XIII Youth Forum of the Volga Federal District «IVolga», which was held in July in Samara and brought together more than 2,000 participants from 80 regions of Russia and 9 countries of the world. The social project “TRP Standards — Olympic Games for Everyone” was awarded financial support from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs in the amount of 289 thousand rubles, which made it possible to implement the initiative on the basis of an educational institution with the involvement of a wide range of participants.

The project is aimed at popularizing GTO standards and sports among schoolchildren in the city of Simferopol through specialized preparation for passing the standards of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense.” As part of the initiative, it is planned to organize regular training, conduct master classes with invited athletes and coaches, as well as use sports equipment purchased with grant funds, including an electronic shooting range for practicing air rifle shooting skills. Particular attention is paid to creating a comfortable environment for children who do not participate in sports clubs, but want to improve their physical fitness.

Alisa Tolmacheva, who is a Master of Sports of Russia in bullet shooting and the owner of five gold GTO signs, has the necessary practical experience to implement the declared initiative. The project successfully started with a training training “Everything about the GTO”, during which the main aspects of the complex were explained to the participants and a further program of events was presented.

The development of the initiative corresponds to the tasks outlined in the youth policy development strategy until 2030 and is aimed at overcoming the trend towards a decrease in physical activity among students.
