Crimean student teams donate blood to organize a holiday for children from the families of SVO participants
From December 8 to 19, at the initiative of student groups of the Republic of Crimea, the “New Year, take it and do it” campaign is taking place. As part of the campaign, student members donate blood at the Blood Center in Simferopol, and with the funds received from donating blood, students purchase New Year’s kits for the families of SVO participants, which will be presented on the eve of the New Year.
Today the first stage of the campaign began — blood donation. Ahead of the action participants are several more donations, as well as collecting New Year’s gifts and holding a matinee for the children of SVO participants. Everything to make the New Year’s holiday a bright and memorable event for the children.
The annual event “New Year, take it and do it” has started, organized on the initiative of student groups of the Republic of Crimea. This event is not only an opportunity to save someone’s life by donating blood, but also a chance to give a New Year’s miracle to children from the families of SVO participants. The first stage is blood donation, which the participants approached very responsibly. This procedure has many contraindications, but there are still quite a lot of students who have the opportunity to donate blood. We are confident that with the efforts of the whole team we will be able to do a great and important good deed, – said Ekaterina Denesyuk, head of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups.
Today I made my first donation in my life as part of the “New Year, take and do” campaign. It seems to me that I hesitated to donate blood for a very long time, because I was waiting for that very day. And here it is: the day when the money from the donation will go to gifts for the children of the SVO participants. This is really important to me. I feel that my little help can make someone’s holiday a little brighter and warmer. I hope that the gifts that will be purchased with the funds raised will bring joy to children and their families.,” noted Alina Vaiman, representative of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups.
