On December 10, the Russian Business Travel&MICE Award was presented for the 16th time in Moscow. This year, 415 leading players in the Russian MICE and business tourism market from all 8 federal districts competed for the prestigious professional award in 16 categories. Traditionally, the geography of applicants for the MICE Award covered almost all regions of the country – from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Intense competition was noted in almost all nominations. During open online voting, over 1 million votes were cast for candidates.
As the organizer of the Award, executive director of the ANO “Project Office for the Events Industry Industry” Natalya Evnevich notes, for several years now there has been an active growth of regional participants in all nominations, which has become a stable trend.
Thus, among the best regional offices in the field of promoting destinations for business tourism, the Office of Prospective Development of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea JSC was named.
The Massandra Production and Agrarian Association, Republic of Crimea, won in the category “Best Venue for Business Events: Winemaking Cultural Objects,” and the best restaurant for events was the Simfero Restaurant Complex, Republic of Crimea.
“Leaders of Business Travel and Meetings Industry” is the most prestigious industry award that brings together key players in the Russian BT&MICE market. One of the main goals of the award is to unlock the potential of regions and create new points of attraction for business guests.
