Crimeans named the most desired gifts for the New Year
The most desired New Year gift for every fifth resident of Crimea is a vacation package. In a survey of a service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
Every fifth resident of Crimea dreams of receiving a tourist voucher as a New Year’s gift. Another 17% would like to receive money.
Every tenth said that the most desired gift for them would be a smartphone, tablet or laptop. 9% would prefer to receive a certificate for educational courses. 4% dream of new household appliances, 3% each dream of a set of cosmetics, sports equipment or a gift certificate, and the same number would like to receive a book as a gift. 2% of respondents each said that they would be pleased with jewelry, theater tickets, repair tools, health products or home decoration. 1% of Crimean residents would like to receive clothes and shoes, alcohol and computer games as gifts.
Women are more likely than men to dream about travel (22% vs. 18%, respectively), cosmetics (6% vs. 0%), gift certificates (5% vs. 0%) and books (5% vs. 1%). Men, in turn, would more often like to receive money as a gift (24% versus 10% among women), smartphones (13% versus 6%), sports goods (5% versus 0%), and tools for repair and construction (4% versus 0%).
Among respondents under 35 years of age, the first place among desired gifts is money (21%). They also mentioned gadgets (10%), certificates for courses (13%), and cosmetics (7%) more often than those who were older. But residents of Crimea over 45 years of age more often dream of traveling (27%).
Most of those who dream of receiving a tourist package as a New Year’s gift are among respondents with a salary of 100 thousand rubles per month (35%).
