Crimeans spent more than 22.1 billion rubles on real estate last year
In 2025, residents of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol purchased private and commercial real estate with the financial support of Sberbank in the amount of more than 22.1 billion rubles, which is 30% more than in 2024. Crimeans spent about 6 billion rubles (27% of the total amount) on the purchase of suburban real estate, including under government support programs (of which 2.6 billion were allocated for individual housing construction). Another approximately 1.8 billion rubles (8% of the volume of mortgage issues) was spent on the purchase of secondary real estate. Crimeans also used the bank’s services to purchase garages/parking spaces under construction or ready-made and commercial premises.
Andrey Podsvirov, manager of the Sberbank branch in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, noted that the structure of preferences has changed in recent years:
Now residents of the peninsula have begun to more often choose housing under construction, preferring to live in modern residential complexes with a convenient layout and infrastructure. The real estate market is also growing due to government support programs implemented in the country, which provide more opportunities for purchasing housing.
According to Sber, in 2024, Crimeans most often took out a housing loan for suburban real estate — 53%, in second place — the purchase of housing in new buildings — 34%. 10% of borrowers purchased finished housing.
Bank experts also noted an increase in interest in lending or refinancing a loan secured by real estate — in 2025, more than 530 transactions were carried out for a total amount of more than 950 million rubles, which is almost twice as much as in 2024, both in number and in amount. — added in Sberbank.
