Crimeans told how much they are willing to spend on New Year’s gifts this year
In a joint survey SuperJob And MADAME COCO Representatives of the economically active population took part.
Most residents of Crimea are already thinking about buying gifts for the New Year. 74% will give gifts to their relatives. 40% will congratulate their loved ones. 32% — friends. 17% plan to give themselves a gift. 12% — to work colleagues. And only 8% of city residents do not intend to give gifts— noted in the service.
Men more often give gifts to their other halves, while women more often congratulate relatives, friends, colleagues and do not forget themselves. Young people under 35 are more actively congratulating relatives, loved ones and friends. Citizens aged 45+ are more likely to receive gifts for colleagues.
According to the MADAME COCO brand, citizens begin to buy gifts in advance — already from the second half of November and by mid-December, sales (in units) double compared to the period of stable demand. The average bill ranges from 1,500 rubles for a gift for colleagues or friends and up to 15,000 rubles for loved ones or managers.
The average amount that Crimean residents plan to spend on New Year’s gifts in 2025 has reached 17,000 rubles.
The most popular gifts according to the MADAME COCO brand are household goods: bed linen sets, pillows, blankets, gift and serving sets, as well as gift certificates. Compared to 2024, buyers are betting on more versatile and sustainable gifts that will be relevant all year round, as opposed to themed New Year’s decor.
Survey time: November 6-24, 2025
