Crimeans will rest for three days on Easter
Next Monday in Crimea has been declared a non-working day in connection with the celebration of Easter. Thus, residents of the peninsula will have a three-day weekend.
By the decree of the head of Crimea dated January 12, 2026 “On non-working holidays in the territory of the Republic of Crimea,” April 13, 2026 was declared a non-working holiday in connection with the celebration of Holy Easter.
Earlier, the Ministry of Labor published a calendar of holidays and weekends for 2026. Yes, twice Russians will rest for three days in May — from 1 to 3 and from 9 to 11. In June, additional days off were made from the 12th to the 14th. Also a non-working holiday is November 4, on the occasion of National Unity Day. December 31 is a non-working day.
