Crimeans will work for six days this week
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimeans, like residents of the rest of Russia, expect a long working week — from October 27 to November 1. But the next one will be short — three days, in honor of National Unity Day. In accordance with the production calendar, Saturday, November 1st, is a shortened working day.
Saturday’s holiday will be moved to November 3. Thanks to this, the long week will be followed by three days off — from Sunday 2 November to Tuesday 4 November.
National Unity Day has been celebrated on November 4 since 2005 in memory of the events of 1612, when the people’s militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders. In Russia this day is a day off.
