As part of a working trip to the Republic of Crimea, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation — Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov, together with the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, inspected the facilities of B.E. Butoms» in Kerch.
The visit to the enterprise began with a case-processing workshop, where the guests examined the automated thermal cutting area and other production lines. General Director of the enterprise Oleg Goncharov informed about the implementation of work on the facilities, familiarized with the technological scheme of production.
Denis Manturov noted that the plant works in the field of shipbuilding and ship repair, for its development it is necessary to enter the relevant state programs.
The amount of possible investments after passing the appropriate audit by the enterprise may amount to more than 4 billion rubles. The aim of the project is to realize the production potential for the construction of ships and ships. For this, among other things, it is necessary to ensure the reconstruction of the dry dock and the deep water embankment, the construction of warehouses and an acetylene station, and the reconstruction of energy infrastructure— said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
Sergey Aksyonov thanked the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation for the great support of shipbuilding and the entire industrial sector of Crimea.
Denis Valentinovich personally delves into the essence of the processes, helps to solve emerging problems. The Butoma Shipbuilding Plant is one of the flagships of the Crimean economy. In recent years, a serious modernization has been carried out here, the plant performs important tasks in the defense sector— said the Head of the Republic.
Aksyonov noted that Denis Manturov and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation headed by him are doing a lot to load the plant with orders, to realize the industrial potential of Crimea.
