Specialists of the gynecological department of the Sevastopol City Hospital No. N. I. Pirogov now carry out minimally invasive interventions at a higher level. At the end of last year, the department received new equipment — an endoscopic stand with a 4K imaging system.

We have been practicing laparoscopy and endoscopic surgery since 2010 year. Over the past eight years, we have made a very big breakthrough. The received equipment is characterized by a high-quality endovideo camera, which allows visualizing the most complex pathological processes in the body. The unique ECHF equipment, reinforced with an ultrasonic dissector, allows coagulation and immediate dissection and dissection of tissues, thus preventing intra-abdominal bleeding and severe complications after surgery , — said Stella Beloglazova, head of the gynecological department.

Thus, the doctor can perform the most precise surgical intervention, and patients recover faster after such minimally invasive operations.

The use of drugs in the postoperative period is reduced. We practically do not use narcotic analgesics, we use conventional analgesics to a minimum. We are minimizing antibiotic therapy , the doctor emphasized.
