Drug gang courier detained in Crimea

Employees of the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, together with colleagues from the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Simferopol region, during operational search activities, stopped the activities of a courier involved in the distribution of narcotic drugs through hiding places.
Objects for packaging prohibited substances, a zip bag with a white crystal-like substance, as well as two packages with gray-green plant contents with a characteristic odor were confiscated from the suspect. According to the expert’s conclusion, the substance weighing 2.47 g submitted for examination contains a derivative of N-methylephedrone. In addition, packages weighing 0.31 g and 0.09 g are recognized as the narcotic drug cannabis (marijuana). It was established that the detainee, a 26-year-old citizen, was involved in illegal activities through the messenger. In February 2025, an unknown person offered him to equip caches and bookmarks on the territory of the Republic of Crimea for a reward in cryptocurrency.
