During the construction of the Yacht Marina in Sevastopol, the embankments and the bed of the Balaklavka River will be additionally strengthened

The project is being implemented on behalf of the President of Russia within the framework of the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”. All work is carried out under the coordination of the Russian Ministry of Construction.

The concept of the Yacht Marina in the Balaklava district of Sevastopol involves the creation of a modern complex of marine and coastal infrastructure facilities for servicing yachts, boats and other small vessels. The total length of the berths will exceed 1900 meters.

As a result of adjustments to the design documentation, a number of decisions on the layout of the yacht marina were changed, taking into account the assessment of its impact on the surrounding development. The changes also affected the placement of ships, the placement of a passenger berth and a checkpoint. New decisions have also been made on structures on the Tavricheskaya embankment, a temporary highway and a number of other facilities and communicationssaid the main expert of the project, head of the comprehensive examination department of the Crimean branch of the Main State Expertise of Russia Valery Ovchinnikov.

In addition, engineering survey data has been updated and additional solutions have been developed regarding hydraulic structures, including for strengthening the bed of the Balaklavka River.

The developer is the State Public Institution “Directorate for the Development of Road and Transport Infrastructure of the City of Sevastopol.”
