Emergency warning: Crimea will be covered by downpours, thunderstorms and wind

It is noted that the weather will fall on the peninsula on September 9 and linger for two days.

According to the Crimean Directorate for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, on October 9 and 10 in the Crimea, rains are expected, in places strong, thunderstorms. Strengthening the southwest with a transition to the northwest wind of 15-20 m/s— said in the message.

Rescuers warn about high risk of emergency situations due to accidents at energy and housing and communal services facilities, and transporting violations, difficulty in traffic, especially in areas of mountain passes are also possible.

The Ministry of Emergencies call residents and guests of the peninsula not to be in the mountains and forests, to refuse to go to sea and internal reservoirs, and do not walk along the embankment and coastal structures.

If the bad weather was found on the street, it is worth paying attention to the integrity of the air transmission lines, contact networks of electric vehicles and on tree branches. It is important not to park a car near advertising shields, poorly strengthened structures, under trees and wires.

Drivers during movement need to be extremely careful, not exceed the speed and follow the rules of the road.
