Employees of cultural institutions of the Crimea improve their skills within the framework of the national project «Culture»

In order to improve the competence of workers in the sphere of culture, training is carried out on an ongoing basis under the program of retraining of creative and managerial personnel as part of the implementation of the regional project «Creative People» of the national project «Culture». In 2023, cultural and art workers of the Republic of Crimea will be trained in advanced training courses at 11 best educational institutions of culture in Russia.

Education within the framework of the regional project «Creative People» contributes to the formation of modern professional competencies. The project makes it possible for cultural workers to improve their skills absolutely free of charge, at the expense of the federal budget.

In Crimea, training of 524 employees of republican and municipal cultural institutions is planned for the current year. So far, 65 people have been trained.

Advanced training courses for cultural workers are held on the basis of 11 well-known creative universities of the country: the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, the Russian Institute of Theater Arts — GITIS, the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov, Moscow State Institute of Culture, Academy of Choral Art named after V.S. Popov, St. Petersburg State Institute of Cinema and Television, Krasnodar State Institute of Arts, Kazan State Institute of Culture, Russian State Specialized Academy of Arts for Students with Disabilities, Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Institute of Art and Chelyabinsk State Institute of Culture.

The issue of staffing of cultural institutions has been and remains acute. Cultural specialists are not only aware of the need to improve their qualifications, but also persistently strive to develop their professional skills.

The training programs are varied. These are such programs as: «Risk management in the activities of organizations in the cultural sector»; “Basic approaches to creating creative clusters and implementing projects for creative (creative) industries”; “Modern technologies for sound amplification of concert and cultural events”; «Fundamentals of computer editing and creation of special effects» and others.

The list of educational programs is expanding every year and meets the most diverse needs of the industry in the field of advanced training. There are programs for all categories of cultural workers: both for managerial personnel and for representatives of creative professions, pedagogical, library and museum personnel, specialists in creative and industrial activities.

The regional project «Creative People» allows cultural workers to be trained even in remote, small towns and settlements. Where own opportunities are limited, and the need for advanced training and improvement of professional skills is high.
