Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia took part in the «Front range» of the ICC «Artek»
The International Children’s Center «Artek» hosted a historical reconstruction of military life and technical support of the front «Front Range». More than 3,000 schoolchildren from all regions of Russia, as well as 33 foreign countries, were imbued with the atmosphere of the heroic time.
At the «Front range» sites of military field medicine, an exhibition of military equipment, transport, military life and field mail were deployed. For the children were organized master classes «marksman», «semaphore alphabet» and many others. Front-line songs sounded from the concert stage, and the aroma of hot porridge was heard from the field kitchen. In total, 21 locations were presented to the attention of Artek residents, each of which told about historical events and helped the children to become closer to their great-grandfathers and to everyone who lived during the war years— said in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
Crimean rescuers also took part in the project, having prepared three thematic sites: «Ministry of Emergency Situations — School of Safety», «Diving and Rescue Operation of the Ministry of Emergencies», «Radiochemical and Biological Protection».
At the location «Ministry of Emergency Situations — School of Safety», employees of the 13th fire and rescue unit reminded Artek residents of the fire safety rules, the procedure in case of an emergency, and also introduced them to the equipment of a fire truck. Boys and girls were able to feel like real firefighters, trying on combat clothes and extinguishing a simulated fire.
Doctors of the Specialized Detachment told and in practice showed the children the rules of first aid, as well as the specifics of transporting victims with various injuries.
At the Diving and Rescue Operation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations thematic area, employees of the Yalta Inspectorate Department of the GIMS, together with specialists from the diving group, spoke about the rules of safe behavior at water bodies and demonstrated equipment that is used in everyday work.
The third location aroused the greatest interest from pyrotechnic specialists, who told the children about the complexities of their work, which was associated with considerable risk. A rich collection of found and defused ammunition from the Great Patriotic War impressed both boys and girls. The children were asked to independently search for an explosive object with the help of special equipment.— noted in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
In turn, the employees of the RCBC group demonstrated to the children the means of protection in case of contamination of the environment with toxic and chemically hazardous substances. In addition, they talked about the rules of safe behavior in the man-made and natural environment and actions when explosive objects are detected.
