Even a dead terrorist remains a terrorist. In the Crimean Investigative Committee spoke about the verdict of the court

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol was recognized by the court as sufficient for issuing a guilty verdict to a citizen of another state. He was found guilty of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an organization that, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, is recognized as terrorist), part 1.1 of Art. 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (declination, recruitment and other involvement of a person in the commission of crimes), part 1 of Art. 30 h. 1 tbsp. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (preparation for a terrorist act), part 1 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage and carrying of explosive devices), art. 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer).
The Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases and the court established that since 1990 the man was an active member of the Islamic Liberation Party (Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami) terrorist organization, whose activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation. Arriving on the peninsula, from April 2017 to May 2021, on the territory of the Soviet district and in the city of Simferopol, he recruited people, persuaded and involved them in this organization. In May 2021, a man planned to commit a terrorist attack in crowded places, for which he illegally acquired two improvised explosive devices and firearms.
However, he could not bring his intention to the end, since his criminal activities were stopped by the employees of the Central Security Service of the FSB of Russia. The attacker died during the provision of armed resistance to them— reported in the Crimean Sledkom.
As part of the investigation of the criminal case, a sufficient evidence base was collected confirming the involvement of the accused in the commission of crimes: the results of numerous examinations were obtained, including explosive, ballistic, chemical, about 50 witnesses were interrogated, many inspections were carried out, including electronic media containing prohibited literature.
A member of a terrorist organization was found guilty by the Southern District Military Court. In connection with the death of the accused, the criminal case was terminated, his involvement in the commission of these crimes was fully proven.
